Law of Autonomous Ships

After traversing the earth (mostly the UK, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Malaysia & Borneo, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, and Nepal), it is clear that the technological advancements of the developed world are far ahead, in reality, than the developing world.

this gulf though allows for an introspective look at the developments, something which is not possible in the otherwise fast (globally considered to be an understatement) outpacing world of emerging technologies and AI.

the resource and capital intensive, and labour agnostic nature of these developments, like autonomous ships, call into question whether laws should be prohibitive or laissez faire.
